Hello and welcome to our website! We hope you will find this site quick and easy to use, and that you will find lots of useful information, as well as celebrations of what your amazing children are doing and learning when they are at pre-school. We now have lots of different ways of sharing information with you, including this site, Facebook and our Parentmail App, so make sure you sign up to avoid missing out.

At Pelicans, our aim is to provide an environment where both children and adults feel safe, happy, stimulated and valued. Partnership with parents is very important to us and we will work together with you to get the best for all of our children.



Application Details



Applying for a Place

To apply for a place at our pre-school please telephone (01482) 788170 to register your child’s details.

Daily Schedule



Find out all about our school day.

We provide sessional care for children aged 3 and 4 years old.

Session times:

8.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Monday to Friday (Term time only).

We also operate a Breakfast Club from 8.00 a.m. – 8.30 a.m. each day for a cost of £2.50 per day. This includes cereal and a drink.

Children can also stay all day with a packed lunch.

We can offer children up to 30 hours funded childcare (subject to parents eligibility) and we will be as flexible as possible in order to meet parents needs. Any hours used over the funded entitlement will be charged at £7.50 per hour.
